You can get support in many different ways. But we currently need to build a real community around OpenGEU. For now, only few people is helping this project. They already became my friends and I thank all of them. But we need much more help. So please, come join the IRC channel, the Forums, come help us or just participate to discussions, submit bugs and possible solutions, propose new approaches to the development of the project... OpenGEU is completely designed to be 100% community driven. If you like this distro, then come in: you'll be wellcome.
The Wiki is available in English, Italian and Deutsch. In the OpenGEU Wiki you’ll find the whole OpenGEU Documentation. You can partecipate to the Wiki, just subscribe and help us editing.
Due to security problems, only requests from people who presented themselves in the Forums will be accepted, we cannot risk the Wiki to be spammed, try to understand us.....
IMPORTANT NOTE: Since I’m just one person and since there’s supposed to be a community around an OpenSource distro, only the English wiki is maintained directly by me. It is the most common language in the world, Italian friends, don’t be mad with be ;)
So, the other Wikis may be outdated on some parts. If you think they are, please read the English wiki but then, please, fill what’s missing on the Italian or Deutsch wik you found incomplete. It’s important for everyone to collaborate. And editing a wiki, is something anyone can do.
We now have a LaunchPad account so you can report bugs and help us solve them! In the future we’ll try to do our best so that we can use all of the LaunchPad features but for now reporting bugs is already OK :)
Please, visit our IRC channel at

I suggest you to visit my personal blog at

if you don't know how to visit an IRC Chat or need help to reach it! In our IRC Channel you'll find help, you'll be able to give us help back or you could just have a nice talk :)
All in real time, of course!
OpenGEU Forums, offered by InTiLinuX Projects, are meant for people wishing to collaborate to the project or having problems strictly related to OpenGEU and its sub-projects. Every problem Ubuntu related or Enlightenment related does not belong directly to OpenGEU, therefore, support will be very limited in this cases. Should you be having problems with Gnome software or software created by the Ubuntu Theme, you should be asking for help in the Ubuntu forums. In case you're having E17 related problems, you should ask to E17 devels. You can in any case try and ask for help in our forum but be aware that answers may and may not come for this kind of problems.
The main purpose of the existence of a OpenGEU Forum is its development. If you want to help the project, you can get much more informations in the Forums: you can participate with art, themes, code or whatever. You can discuss about the possibility of creating tools, applications, enhancing the integration between Gnome and Enlightenment... that's the main reason why the Forum is there :)
Mailing lists are available both for normal users and for developers.
Before choosing the ML you want to be subscribed to, you should read the informations provided by each particular ML. The names are pretty self explaining but know that you should subscribe to the OpenGEU developers ML only if you are a developer of OpenGEU or if you are a general developer and want to help our project. Of course, you can suscribe to help us not only with code but also, for example, with artwork, teams, etc. You can now find our Mailing Lists on the Contacts page too. Have fun!

OpenGEU has got two main forums, an English one and an Italian one. You can choose which to refer to following these links or visiting the
InTiLinuX Projects Forum
and browsing directly for the Forum you prefer. If you would like to see the forums in a different language too, please contact us, we’ll set the forums up but in that case, remember that I and my team can only speack English and Italian, so, we will not be of that much help in a Frenc forum, for example ;) !
Have a nice stay!
