On 29/03/2009 our repos, hosted on greenie.sk,
fell due to intense traffic. They where able of supporting a maximum of 5GB/Day of internet traffic, we produced 80GB/Day. Therefore, greenie closed our repos and we immediately started looking for a new hosting provider.
Luckily for us, we found collaboration in Jonathan from Linux Freedom (
http://linuxfreedom.com) who offered his help, hosting us for free on his server! So, since today, our new repos are started, but what about all those people installing OpenGEU Luna Serena and finding our default repos unreachable? What about everyone with a Luna Crescente or Luna Serena installed system?
To solve this problem I created
this package. It is just a package able of fixing your repositories, it contains a script which will change the old greenie repos with our new linuxfreedom repos! You will need to do nothing but install it and you'll be ready, set, go.
