Finally, OpenGEU Luna Crescente Alpha repos are available for you to download on any OpenGEU Luna Nuova system or any Ubuntu 8.04 pure system and derivates out there. Hoping you’ll enjoy the progress, we’d like to remind you that this repos are under heavy development and that this is not the final release of Luna Crescente, it is only the first one. We’ll have later a Beta stage and eventually an RC one before the official release is completed. No dates for now, we don’t want to give anyone false illusions, since most of the work depends on the development speed and spare time of our team and, more than all, on the free time I have for creating the iso and the packages :)

So please just be patient and if you wish, go on and install our Alpha repos. All of the tools and the system itself is already working great, we only miss new themes and of course we need your help to hunt down some bugs... even if we noticed none ;)

Installing our repos is easy al always, just follow THIS GUIDE on our wiki and you’ll be done! As for the iso, it will be a matter of hour until it is released, just give me the time to upload it ;)

I’ll soon write a guide on how to develop OpenGEU themes too, so that anyone wishing to contribute will be able to help us creating packages for new OpenGEU themes. Nothing about programming, only something about choosing icons sets, gtk themes, e17 themes, etc.
